Windy Saturday Afternoon
Friday, October 24th...4:30 p.m.
FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL GAMES: Steady rain is moving through but will probably end around 8pm for the Portland Metro Area.
Wet weather pattern continues the next 7 days, although either next Thursday or Friday (Halloween) COULD be dry.
WIND: Models seem to be somewhat settled on no windstorm tomorrow afternoon/evening, but there will be a burst of gusty south wind 4-8pm or so. Gusts 30-40 mph are possible here during that time, so just like last week there could be some limbs/trees down with some power outages too. All quiet and warmer tomorrow until that time.
MOUNTAIN SNOW: Lowest snow level so far this season is coming up Sunday morning. Sticking snow down to 4,000-5,000'. So Government Camp will be very close to the snow line briefly in the morning. 2-4" likely at Timberline and Mt. Hood Meadows. Snow level goes up after that and it'll be all rain up there next week.
