Chance of flurries and freezing rain
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the northern Willamette Valley from 4pm Monday through 4pm Tuesday.
-Light flurries to steady snow possible
-Snow levels near the surface of the valley floor
-Accumulation is expected to be less than an inch
-Roads could be slick
Timing and location:
My model shows a small band of moisture creeping down from the north starting at around 7pm tomorrow night. Folks in Seattle should see the snow first, then Kelso/Longview by about 9pm. Right now it does not appear the snow will go any further south than Portland (great news for folks in Eugene & Corvallis who are still digging out).
Spots that will likely get the most snow: Morton, Amboy & Battle Ground
We'll dry up quickly late Tuesday morning. This is not expected to be a widespread snow event.
